Is Manwin RACIST and SEXIST in regards to who they threaten unjustified LEGAL ACTION against within the adult entertainment blogging sphere?

Today I woke up to what I perceive as threats from porn industry giant MANWIN (a non United States founded entity) requesting that I immediately remove my recent post about DareDorm.com due to my linked and sourced commentary.

I have to question as to exactly why Manwin is targeting me, with unjustified legal action against this posting when Mike South (of MikeSouth.com who is often quite accurate in his blog postings) has reported as of November 11, 2011 that Manwin has allegedly either acquired or done a deal with Reality Kings.

It appears in my view that Manwin is attempting to silence independent adult industry bloggers - possibly according to race and sex being that Mike South (who has recently written a positive blog in regards to Manwin) is a caucasion (white) male - versus myself (a black female) who hasn't jumped on the "pro-manwin" bandwagon.

Is this another instance of the porn industry threatening, harassing and attempting to intimidate women like myself who are ex pornstars who have decided to share their thoughts, opinions, views and truths about the porn industry? Considering what I went through with the PornWikiLeaks situation of which Mike South was involved in and Sean Tompkins (of whom was initially closely affiliated with Mike South in the alleged "taking down" of PornWikiLeaks), I wouldn't be surprised.

Amazing how MANWIN is a platinum plus FSC (free speech coalition) member - yet they're attempting to encroach upon my FREEDOM OF SPEECH.

Thanks Monica, your quick response is wonderful.

I have taken the high road and have not publicly blasted these guys (Mike primarily) or made the reasons overtly public. When asked, I would only reply that Mike had other interests and that I took over to service the promises that were made to the customer base. Mike had made commitments to almost 100 customers to take care of their 2257 records and was just going to toss them to the wind after defaulting on all of his payments and overhead. I stepped in, took back possession of all the software I developed for him, and created 2257Snap to simply maintain the commitment that was made so that their existing records will be maintained. Most all of them are mom-and-pop webmasters who were primarily concerned with remaining anonymous.

Again, I'm not in the "adult" industry. I'm just a programmer who was hired by these guys a few years ago and wasted 6-8 months of my life working full time on database development and web design, and subsequently received barely any compensation as was promised. It threw me into bankruptcy and profoundly negatively impacted my life. Fortunately, things are doing better now. I can't put enough distance between myself and Mike F. To me, he epitomizes the stereotype of the sleaziest incarnation of lawyers AND the porn industry. So being inadvertently linked to Mike and Kevin with the 2257Snap name was something that I wanted to correct.

Today I'm a third year nursing student at a prestigious learning-hospital, but keep 2257Snap open to continue the long term commitment made to those clients.
It appears to me that you have also made positive steps to remove yourself from that industry if I am not mistaken. I applaud your efforts and wish you the best. :)

Meet the New King of Porn

Fabian Thylmann isn't a familiar name to most people outside the adult entertainment industry.

But while the 33-year-old managing partner of Manwin lacks the icon status of Hugh Hefner or the grand showmanship of Larry Flynt, he has quietly become one of the most powerful people in porn over the past two years.

His company, based in Luxembourg (with offices around the globe), owns many of the major online porn sites (like Brazzers and Twisty's), oversees Playboy's online and television operations, manages the online operations of Wicked Pictures, and this week signed a deal to buy Digital Playground, one of the industry's largest filmmakers.

But ask Thylmann, who prefers to avoid the spotlight, about Manwin and he'll describe it as something much different from a porn empire.

"In essence, Manwin is a tech company," he said at a rare keynote speech at Internext, an industry-only conference held immediately before The Adult Entertainment Expo. "We're online and have such big sites that we have to be very, very good at the tech side of this business."

Some might roll their eyes at such a description, but Thylmann made a strong enough case over a 10-month period in 2010 and 2011 to convince a Wall Street fund (which he declines to name) to agree to a nine-figure loan in April 2011. The money was used to pay down previous acquisition debts and fund new takeovers, such as Digital Playground.

An investment that large, in any company, is worth noting. And Thylmann says that while there are no plans for an IPO at present, it's something the company has not ruled out.

"Clearly, I'm not going to say no, but I honestly haven't decided yet," he said in the speech. "The lenders asked that, because they want to know if I have an exit [strategy]. What I told them is: 'The money I make today is fine. I don't need to go public.'"

Besides, he notes, companies that are pure porn plays don't tend to do well with investors. Before he'd consider an IPO, Manwin would have to diversify.

"I think going public is doable, but it's very difficult with a pure adult company. It needs to be mixed with something mainstream, and finding that isn't easy …. There are certainly a few good targets out there, but … there's nothing planned now," Thylmann said at the Internext event.

Of course, with Playboy TV among its holdings, Manwin has an inroad to mainstream entertainment companies. And that's something Thylmann hopes to use to the company's advantage as streaming media becomes more commonplace in the living room.

"With Playboy TV, we also got … a way to get into the door of Google [GOOG 632.91 4.33 (+0.69%) ], Samsung's TV group, and Netflix [NFLX 98.54 3.82 (+4.03%) ]," he said. "With Brazzers, when we knock on the door, they tell us to leave, because they're afraid of the content. They're not afraid of Playboy, though. At least they can be convinced to talk to us about [airing] it. Later on, I can try to push other content into the mix."

It's a strategy that has earned Manwin respect among its peers.

"There's no question those Manwin guys are smart and they know what they're doing," says Steven Hirsch, founder of Vivid Entertainment.

Part of the key to Manwin's success in the adult industry, says Thylmann, has been the company's focus online. While TV operations like Playboy and the recent purchase of Digital Playground (whose films include "Pirates II," which had a reported budget of $1 million) grab headlines, it's the website operations that make the most for the company.

And as the company incorporates Digital Playground — and its future films — into its operations, it's already trying to find a way to maximize its potential with the Web surfing audience.

"Online is the first thing we think about when we do a production," Thylmann said in his speech. "We can always repackage it later and make a DVD or TV segment, but first and foremost it goes online, and that's where it needs to make money. Anything else that comes after that is an upside. We make more money, and it lowers production costs."

Online, though, is an area of concern for a lot of companies. Piracy has devastated the DVD business in porn — in large part due to Manwin's PornHub, and other tube sites, where users upload copyrighted content.

Critics say the site is rife with stolen intellectual property, and Thylmann and Manwin have been slow to remove it since purchasing the company.

Thylmann says to drastically and immediately change the business model would have made the sites a poor investment, but he has been working to license content and convince those viewers to pay for memberships that feature legal, licensed clips.

While Manwin is respected by some, Thylmann knows he and his company are not well liked by many others in porn because of his actions with the tube sites. Still, he insists he's trying to be realistic when it comes to piracy.

"There will be no fix [to piracy]," he said in his Internext comments. "We need to find a way to make it interesting enough for people who do want to spend [money on subscriptions] to do it."

He noted that Brazzers once ran ads on the infamous Web piracy group, The Pirate Bay, and traffic from that site converted quite well.

As for the overall health of the industry, while there are plenty of doomsayers these days, Thylmann says he's confident there are plenty of healthy companies making adult movies —some doing even better than the industry leaders in the golden days of porn.

"I've looked at many books to see if something is interesting to buy," he says. "I know of many companies today that are making more than the big ones did in 1998, 1999, and 2000."

Why porn queens and CES tech geeks have parted ways

For years, the sight of badge-wearing technology nerds intermingling with buxom porn queens along the Strip marked the start of a new year and the concurrent arrival of two high-profile conventions to Las Vegas.

But this year, the International Consumer Electronics Show and the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo, two conventions with a long, informal relationship, are being held on separate weeks. CES wrapped up last Friday and the adult expo begins Wednesday.

The split was caused in large part by scheduling issues, said Steve Javors, managing editor of AVN, an adult entertainment trade publication.

“We needed to keep the AVN Awards over the weekend so all of our talent and the members of the adult business community can attend without it taking up their whole week,” Javors said.

Holding the adult expo concurrently with CES had brought the convention increased attendance and media attention, Javors said. But as the show has grown over the past two decades — starting out in the basement of the Sands Expo and Convention Center in the 1980s and now reaching the point where it will take over the Hard Rock Hotel — Javors said having its own weekend will help the adult expo step into its own spotlight.

The separation from CES, which drew nearly 150,000 visitors and sent room rates skyrocketing, will also help attendees at the adult expo save on travel costs.

“We’ve certainly grown up and deserve our own weekend,” Javors said. “I think (the move) will make our show more accessible for people who want to attend. The hotel rooms will cost less and people won’t spend forever waiting in lines for cabs.”

Among attendees at CES, reactions were mixed as people who enjoyed attending both events realized that the adult expo was being held a week later.

“I suppose I’m a bit disappointed,” said 55-year-old Jeff Lewis, a research scientist from Canada attending CES. “It was very peculiar to be walking from a booth with computers to go-go dancers. It was always fun to walk through both conventions.”

CES attendee Walter Areas said he worried that the separation would mean less attendance for the adult expo.

“The demographic for CES is all men. Same with the porn convention,” the 30-year-old California resident said. “Realistically, they should go hand in hand. It worked. It was a perfect collaboration — like white on rice.”

The new weekend for the adult expo will also come with a new venue, as the convention’s festivities and exhibitions move to the Hard Rock Hotel. Javors said the expo will take advantage of the Hard Rock’s varied venues to host a dozen parties throughout the week.

“It takes us out of the convention-type atmosphere and puts it in a fun, sexy venue,” he said. “It’s really exciting … I think it will, in a way, breathe new life into the show and give it a different vibe.”

Los Angeles mandates porn stars wear condoms

Porn stars in Los Angeles will be legally required to wear condoms during film shoots after the city council voted on Tuesday to mandate their use, despite a threat by skin flick producers to leave town over the requirement.

The move comes amid persistent questions about how to enforce the health measure, which backers say will protect performers in the multibillion-dollar porn industry from contracting HIV and other diseases.

Producers complain the sight of a condom in a sex scene turns off consumers of their videos.

The Los Angeles City Council voted 9-1 on Tuesday to give final approval to the measure, proposed after the AIDS Healthcare Foundation qualified an initiative for the ballot that would have asked voters in June to mandate condoms at porn shoots as a condition of obtaining a film permit.

The city would have had to spend over $4 million to hold the election, and city officials said a decision to simply adopt the condom requirement allowed them to dodge that costly election.

The council gave preliminary approval to the measure last week, and its passage made the city the first in the nation to impose such a requirement. Most of the U.S. porn industry is based in Los Angeles.

The California Division of Occupational Safety and Health (Cal-OSHA) already requires porn performers to wear barriers, such as condoms, when they are in contact with bodily fluids.

But enforcement has been a challenge for the state. For one, the Cal-OSHA requirement is not specifically aimed at adult films, and it is openly violated within the industry, said Michael Weinstein, president of AIDS Healthcare. He has clashed with porn producers for years over the issue.

"I don't know of any other industry where people go out in public and say they're not going to follow the law," Weinstein, whose group provides care to AIDS patients, said last week.

WIDENING THE CAMPAIGN

City officials were still wrestling with how to enforce the condom mandate, which is set to go into effect in 90 days.

Paul Audley, president of FilmL.A., a nonprofit hired by the city to oversee television and film productions, said his office normally has Los Angeles police handle enforcement when problems arise with permitted shoots.

But Audley said last week that he has told city leaders he believes workers with health licenses would be best able to make sure adult film performers use condoms. He said his office and representatives from Cal-OSHA would soon meet to discuss how the new city mandate should be enforced. "No one's answered that question yet," he said.

Weinstein said, "We think it makes the most sense to job out this responsibility to an outside agency, like a nursing agency."

FilmL.A. hands out under 500 permits a year for adult movie shoots, Audley said. But some estimates put the number of adult films shot in the Los Angeles region at 50,000 a year, he said.

Not all productions need a permit -- such as those taking place in a soundstage -- and some shoots are done illegally. "We really don't have a way to tell where they may be filming illegally somewhere," Audley said.

Now that it has succeeded in having the City Council adopt the condom measure, AIDS Healthcare is widening its campaign by pushing for a November ballot initiative that would force porn producers to obtain a public health permit from Los Angeles County officials. The permit is similar to what barber shops must receive, said Ged Kenslea, a spokesman for AIDS Healthcare.

If that county measure passes, it would increase the burden on porn producers to follow state law and use condoms on sets, Kenslea said. It would also stop producers within Los Angeles city limits, including porn hub the San Fernando Valley, from moving shop to neighboring communities to avoid using condoms, Weinstein said.

Porn producers have been critical of the condom mandate.

Steven Hirsch, the co-chairman and founder of adult film company Vivid Entertainment, said his company has a "condom-optional" policy and leaves it up to performers.

"Consumers have said overwhelmingly that they would prefer to watch movies without condoms," Hirsch said last week.

While over 80 percent of the U.S. porn industry is based in Los Angeles, where performers are regularly tested for sexually transmitted diseases, productions could move to other states or countries due to the condom mandate, he said.

Yesterday, a federal judge sentenced Dirk LaPaglia to six years in prison (and ten years of supervised release after that) for taking not-pornographic pictures of girls in his Johns Creek neighborhood, and then using Photoshop to make porn out of them.

U.S. Attorney Sally Yates' office described the images thusly ...

[Police found in La Paglia's home] a cache of photos that [he] had created by combining photos of neighborhood women and girls with pornographic images. The police seized LaPaglia's computer for further examination. On the computer, they found a collection of over 600 images depicting the faces/upper torsos of neighborhood girls morphed onto the naked bodies of other females engaged in various explicit sex acts. Authorities have identified at least two dozen victims of this conduct — actual minor females who lived in LaPaglia's neighborhood or adjacent communities.

The examination of the computer also revealed that LaPaglia had clandestinely entered several neighbors’ homes, found the girl’s bedroom, placed the girl’s undergarments on the girl’s bed, and then filmed himself engaging in auto-erotic behavior.

Yikes. BUT, six years in prison for making porn with Photoshop? Granted, it's completely gross. Totally inappropriate, and I'm sure the girls whose pictures he used feel incredibly violated. But six years in prison?

Robert McBurney, who prosecuted the case, called the sentence "meaningful and deterrent."

Porn actors must wear condoms, LA votes

(CBS/AP) Condoms are the newest addition to the cast of the porn industry. The Los Angeles City Council tentatively approved Tuesday an ordinance that requires porn actors to wear condoms during film shoots.

The council voted 11-1 for the proposal, but the ordinance will need a second vote next week for final approval.

Under the ordinance, porn producers would have to provide and require the use of condoms on set in order to obtain permits to film in the nation's second-largest city.

The AIDS Healthcare Foundation has long fought for mandatory condom use in adult films, but an initiative has never been approved. Approval of this ordinance would be a first.

"This long struggle to move us to a place of making Los Angeles a safe place to make adult films has taken a huge leap forward today," said foundation President Michael Weinstein.

The Free Speech Coalition is not as supportive. The porn industry's trade association, the organization issued a statement criticizing the vote and the incursion of government into sex films.

"Government regulation of filmmaking would likely undermine existing health and safety efforts and industry standards that are effective as well as take the government into dangerous new territory," said Diane Duke, coalition executive director.

According to Duke, the porn industry has a low rate of sexually transmitted disease and there has been no transmission of HIV in the industry in five years. The most recent HIV scare in the industry came when a male performer initially tested HIV positive, but retesting revealed he was free of the disease in September 2011, she said.

Porn actor Derrick Burts was diagnosed HIV-positive in December 2010 after working in gay and straight porn for a few months. Burts said he contracted the disease through those performances, but Duke believes he contracted HIV outside the workplace.

Burts denies those allegations and called the council vote Tuesday "a huge, huge step in the right direction."

The ordinance doesn't involve just the government, though. The council also agreed to form a group comprised of law enforcement, state occupational safety regulators, the AIDS Healthcare Foundation and other stakeholders to hammer out how to enforce the new rules. The council also voted unanimously to drop a lawsuit filed by the city attorney against foundation's proposed ballot measure.

Although the Free Speech Coalition opposes mandatory condom regulations, it favors consistently testing adult film performers for sexually transmitted diseases.

According to the CDC, latex condoms are "highly effective" at preventing HIV transmission, and have been shown to reduce the risk of other sexually transmitted diseases including, gonorrhea, chlamydia, and trichomoniasis. A lesser degree of protection is provided for genital ulcer diseases -including herpes and syphilis - or HPV, because these infections may be transmitted by exposure to areas that are not covered or protected by the condom.

Will Supreme Court Bring Porn To Broadcast TV?

The Supreme Court on Tuesday is scheduled to hear arguments on a case that could dramatically change the rules regarding indecency and profanity and, conceivably, open the way to X-rated content on broadcast television. Yes, I know that seems like an overstatement today, but broadcasters will do anything for a buck. I know, I’ve been one. Just wait-and-see.

Broadcasters allege the Federal Communications Commission is violating the First Amendment by imposing fines for on-air indecency. The case relates to fines issued for expletives uttered on awards shows by Nicole Richie and Cher on FoX and a scene involving a nude actress on NYPD Blue, broadcast by ABC television.

The two networks, joined by NBC and CBS, are asking the court to overturn a 34-year-old ruling that allows the FCC to regulate broadcast profanity and indecency. Cable and satellite television and the Internet are outside the FCC’s control, however, and that is part of the problem.

The networks say, with justification, that the rule isn’t fair. And even if it was fair three decades ago, changes in how television content is delivered have changed how the medium is used. Back then, the FCC used the justification that radio and television were “uniquely accessible to children” and had a “uniquely pervasive presence in the lives of all Americans.”

It is hard to say either of those still exist, certainly not like they did in 1978. The fines are based on the court’s ruling in a case that sanctioned a radio station for broadcasting the late George Carlin’s “Seven Dirty Words” routine.

Quoted by Bloomberg, the American Civil Liberties Union is supporting the broadcasters:

‘It just doesn’t make sense to say one rule applies to everything else and then say one special rule applies to broadcast television,’ said Steven Shapiro, legal director of the ACLU.

If the ruling falls, the very real danger is that broadcast television will become rife with the nudity and profanity — including 24-hour adult channels — that already inhabit cable, satellite and the Internet. While I don’t have a problem with that, in limited doses, but believe we need some safe harbors for family viewing and the FCC should be the enforcer.

Former FCC Chairman Michael Powell shares my belief that cable and satellite content should also be subject to FCC enforcement, telling Bloomberg:

‘I’ve always been deeply troubled by the way the First Amendment changes when you change channels.’

Powell is now president of the National Cable & Telecommunications Association, the cable industry trade group. I wonder if his members would be pleased if FCC indecency and profanity rules applied to them?

The FCC and Obama administration are defending the ruling, on the basis that parents still look to broadcast television as safe viewing for children and families. The administration has told the court that the expansion of non-regulated content actually makes the regulated content more important.

Remember the Fairness Doctrine?
If the FCC loses here — as I expect — it will be the biggest change in broadcast content regulation since enforcement of the Fairness Doctrine, which required broadcasters to present both sides of controversial issues, stopped in 1987. With that wall torn down, the way was opened for right-wing talk radio to populate, first, dying AM radio stations and then go mainstream.

Others dispute this, but I trace today’s hyperpartisian political climate to the ability of the right to use radio and TV to organize, cheerlead and whip people into a conservative frenzy. When the Fairness Doctrine was in play, Rush Limbaugh — as he now exists — was impossible because of the FCC requirement to present both sides. Indeed, a program could cover the same topics that conservative radio does today, but without the partisan host and with both sides on at the same time. That can make for pretty boring radio, at least compared to the conservative hosts.

How will the Supreme Court rule?
The Court has already struck down restrictions on violent video games, political spending and prescription drug marketing. It seems logical that the indecency and profanity rule will go away, too.

It seems odd that a majority conservative court would support indecency and profanity, but if violent video games for children are OK, what isn’t? (I would make the case violence is more damaging to kids and society generally than nudity or profanity, but that’s for another column.)

My prediction: Ruling falls and slowly the TV networks will come to fully mimic their cable, satellite and Internet cousins. While I don’t expect ABC/CBS/NBC/Fox to go to overnight porn, it would surprise me if some enterprising independent broadcaster did not. Especially if it could be done on a secondary channel. I am not clear on how easy it would be to prevent accidental viewing of this content.

In mainstream programming, I’d expect to see a great increase in somewhat vulgar talk and a big increase in near-nudity. Not so much sex, but a sexed-up “Pole Dancing With The Stars” and other game and reality shows.

Many will think ‘more sex on TV’ is a good thing and I don’t object so much on moral grounds — watch whatever you want — but I think an excess cheapens culture and reduces quality of life.

And if this ruling falls, will tobacco advertising soon return to the airwaves? Hard liquor ads start showing up? Corporate freedom of speech, you know…

The city attorney should drop his legal effort to block L.A.'s initiative requiring condom use among adult-film actors. If the Legislature won't act, the ballot process should go forward.

City Atty. Carmen Trutanich has gone to court to block a proposed Los Angeles city initiative requiring performers in adult films to use condoms on the set. His motivations make sense — he believes that the ballot measure, even if adopted, would infringe on state regulatory power and would be struck down in court; he wants to save the city from the needless expense of conducting a special election, and perhaps the additional cost of defending a purportedly unenforceable new ordinance. But the signatures are gathered, the exclusivity of state jurisdiction is in question, and the people should be able to vote. Trutanich should back off and let the measure go forward.

At issue is a petition campaign by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, which is seeking a Los Angeles ordinance that makes condom use a condition of obtaining a city film permit for adult movies. The measure has qualified for the next available ballot, which turns out to be the June 5 primary. Los Angeles would have to buy a place on the county's ballot. The cost could be more than $4 million.

Trutanich's lawyers say the ordinance would be vulnerable in court because the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health already regulates workplace safety — and already has a regulation in place requiring the use of condoms on adult film locations. But Cal/OSHA's lawyer has said the Los Angeles law would not impinge on his agency's jurisdiction, which is limited to employer-employee relationships. Film performers are generally contract workers, not employees.

Performers in adult films should be required to use condoms to protect themselves and others against the spread of HIV and AIDS. Enforceable state regulation would make the most sense; it would be preferable to see such a law adopted by the Legislature. Local rule-making simply encourages businesses — including porn moviemakers — to pull up stakes and move to adjacent cities, taking their permit fees and business taxes with them. That seems likely to be the case here, as locations abound on the periphery of Los Angeles.

But sometimes cities must take the lead, even in workplace safety regulation, because Sacramento may lack the will or interest to protect workers. Los Angeles banned smoking in restaurants and bars to protect not merely the comfort of patrons but the health and safety of staff who otherwise were inhaling carcinogens each day. The move pressed the state to finally catch up.

Whether this is likewise an area in which the city should lead is open to question — but that now is a question that should be answered by the voters. The right to petition and vote is paramount. The city attorney should drop his suit, the City Council should do what it must to secure a spot on the June ballot, and opponents can make their arguments against a local condom requirement for film permits in the accustomed time and place — during the campaign.

I originally had to step back and heal. Cyberstalking is a horrendous crime against humanity that takes a toll on its' victims no matter how strong they are. When you are a good person and someone attacks you, it can be difficult to understand, at the very least. Then when it continues to such a sick extreme, you feel like you can't escape it so your life is over. Well, I'm here to say it's NOT!! Now that I have taken time to heal and understand what happened to us that day, November 9th, 2007, when the porn industry recruited my daughter, life has never been the same and it won't be but that's okay with me now. My life is very different but it's much better actually. I've got thousands of friends now that are out there who got my back and I'm making the world a better place. What could be better than that??

So, here I am. What brought me back? My good friend, Monica Foster, did by default. I've watched the porn industry do to her what they did to me. We thought it was over when they took down PWL but now they've built a new stalker hate site. I decided I can't let Monica go this alone again so here I am!!

This was no different than any of the other trips to LA in that my daughter called crying saying she wanted to come home because she couldn't take the abuse and craziness in Los Angeles but Brian wouldn't let her leave.

The issue that pushed her over was she had witnessed a model shooting heroin and she was supposed to shoot with that girl the next day...

Two South Florida men are facing potential life prison sentences after they were convicted of filming rapes of women for sale as pornography.

A federal jury in Miami convicted 40-year-old Lavont Flanders Jr. and 45-year-old Emerson Callum of multiple sex-related and conspiracy charges Wednesday. They're scheduled to be sentenced in February.

Prosecutors say the two lured women to Miami with false promises of work as models. At auditions the women were given drinks laced with so-called date rape drugs. One of the men then had sex with the women while the other filmed it. The film was then sold to pornography websites and stores around the country.

Flanders posed as a female model when contacting the women over the phone about the purported Miami auditions.

Over 100,000 XXX Domain Names Are Going Live Tomorrow At 11 EST

The next generation of online porn launches tomorrow at 11 AM EST.

We asked the guy behind XXX domain names who stands to benefit from the changeover.

ICM Registry CEO Stuart Lawley has been working with internet regulators ICANN since the 1990s to create the adult entertainment domain name. The separate domain would allow adult entertainment providers to register under a unique identifier, as well as allow consumers not looking for porn to bypass it entirely.

"There's a lot of information out there on the Internet," Lawley said, adding that his domain idea would make it easier to compile that information.

All triple X sites would labeled as such on Firefox and other browsers, making it easier for parents to block the content, Lawley said.

But even with the added security measures, getting the domain idea approved by ICANN and accepted by the public has been difficult.

Christian NewsWire in particular is vehemently opposed to the idea, calling on readers to "kill the .XXX Domain."

But inclusion in the domain isn't mandatory. Lawley stressed the idea is a way to bring like-minded sites together to make it easier for the consumer and not a way to stifle the porn industry's web presence.

"We're staunch advocates of free expression," he said.

So far, more than 100,000 domain names have been registered. ICM expects that number to double within the first few weeks of the domain going public. While prices vary depending on which registrar registers the site, Lawley said it usually costs between $70 and $100 to create a .XXX website.

It's difficult for ICM to estimate how much money it will make off the idea, since profits depend on the number of registrants, but the company's wholesale price for domains is $60.

I wasn't going to mention or write about this issue, due to not wanting to cause panic amongst current and ex adult industry talent, however as of yesterday I've changed my mind due to (in my view) obvious shady business practices and deals being conducted at the expense of the privacy of thousands of adult entertainers.

I've been aware since late November 2011 of a new "PornWikileaks" type website having been launched (I will not state the URL in this article being that I don't want to draw traffic to it). Someone contacted me around November 25, 2011 via twitter about the site, but I ignored the person. Someone using the email address rodwilde2011@*** contacted me November 30th about the site, but I figured it was most likely the owner of the site attempting to bait me into promoting it.

Then yesterday, pornstar Mercedes Ashley texted and called me about the new "PornWikileaks" type site, and I informed her that I already knew about it, but have opted to keep it to myself. The moment Mercedes Ashley and I ended our telephone conversation, Sean Tompkins (the man who claims to have brought a close to the original PornWikiLeaks.com website, and since has launched a website called TheRealPornWikiLeaks.com of which Mercedes Ashley is involved with), who I have requested to stop contacting me, sent me several threatening text messages. Please read them below.

For months now Sean Tompkins has threatened and harassed me regularly being that I've brought attention to the fact that the original PornWikiLeaks.com situation has never reached legal closure - along with the fact that he appears to be quite the opportunist - considering that he utilized a similar framework of the initial Pornwikileaks website to build his website venture.

The problem in my view with Sean Tompkins, is that rather than utilizing proper legal channels and means to bring the PornWikileaks issue to a close, he appears to have made illegal and underhanded deals (and may have even forged business relationships) with Donny Long and others involved in the creation of the original PornWikileaks project.

To this day, the URL PornwikiLeaks.com still forwards directly to Donny Long's website xxxFilmJobs.com (it should have been disabled and surrendered completely had the initial PornWikileaks "take down" been executed properly). At one point Sean Tompkins even made it known that he was the "middle man" between Donny Long and parties interested in purchasing the PornWikiLeak domain.

Considering the threats I've received from Sean Tompkins and (most likely) his associates in attempt to silence me, I feel he may be involved in the new "PornWikileaks type" website venture. Sean Tompkins has made it clear that he wants to solidify a place in the adult media arena via his venture TheRealPornWikiLeaks - so his reputation as being instrumental in "saving" the adult industry from the privacy issue that the original PornWikiLeaks venture created is vital for him to maintain.

I have blogged and stated many times that someone would create another "Pornwikileaks type" website, (I doubt that this new site is the only one of it's kind, I'm sure there are many others live or under construction), and that the blue print of this type of website should be patented and made illegal, but those who could have made a difference appear to have not paid attention.

The key to Pornwikileaks type websites gaining traffic (popularity) is for people to spread the word about them, so again, I will not name the URL (name) of this website.

The way websites such as these make money is via traffic re-routing, affiliate programs and paid advertisements. It will be interesting to see what companies purchase ad space on this new "PornWikileaks" type venture. AdultDvd.com / Mallcom partnered for a white with the original PornWikileaks site.

Upon investigation into this website, it appears to have been registered Novemeber 3, 2011 and is registered through SilentRegister.com . No I Don’t Help Girls Get Into The Business Anymore

She asked me if I still help girls get into the business. I told her no without hesitation. She wanted to know why not and i didn't even have to think about it, I told her it was because it is a poor choice now. There is no longer any money in it, shooting in Porn Valley has all but dried up and there are too many girls vying for too little work. Add to that that the business has become over run with misogynistic scumbags and freak shows and that I could not, in good conscious encourage someone to enter into that.

If they are at least somewhat serious I steer them to the internet side of things, it's easy enough to set up a clips4sale store and she will have total control over her content. Or shoot for internet sites, they tend to be less competitive but I caution her that scammers abound on craigslist and other places. I uncovered a big one here in dayton recently, a complete scumbag who goes by the name Greg Flaig, he calls himself executive director of something called the owners coalition and he runs some little sleazy tabloid called Ohio Night Visions, but more on this human debris in another post.

It bugs me to feel this way but I don't think it is permanent. I think when the industry is done eating itself something that resembles a new business and a rebirth will emerge.

Until then I would only encourage a girl I thought had a shot at a contract with Digital Playground or someone, a situation where she would be secure and reasonably safe.

According to www.ChristianPornstar.com - the first Christian Pornstar commandment states:
"Thou shalt utilize condoms for intercourse and oral sexual activity (with the exception of pairing that have been legitimately [legally and spiritually] married for 1 year or longer and STD tested within 1 week of the scene)."

It appears that the Christian Pornstar movement and the Aids Healthcare Foundation (AHF) are on the same page. The AHF has succeeded in collecting enough signatures to put an initiative on the ballot to require the use of condoms in the Los Angeles adult film industry.

The initiative would force any adult filmmaker who gets a permit to shoot in the city to require performers to use condoms and allow the city to charge a fee to pay for inspections of film sets, said Michael Weinstein, president of the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, which sponsored the signature drive and intends to fund the initiative campaign.

Weinstein said the foundation has gathered about 64,000 signatures for the initiative, far more than the 41,000 needed to put the measure before city voters in June. The city now must validate the signatures.

But "we had a very easy time getting these signatures," Weinstein said. Support cut "across lines — Democrat and Republican, men and women. Everyone understood this was an issue of worker protection."

In an email to the Los Angeles Times, Diane Duke, director of the Canoga Park-based Free Speech Coalition, an adult-industry lobbying group, said the industry opposes mandatory condom use and that the testing the industry already uses protects performers.

"History has shown us that regulating sexual behavior between consenting adults does not work," she wrote. "The best way to prevent the transmission of HIV and other [sexually transmitted infections] is by providing quality information and sexual health services.

"If condoms were mandatory," she wrote, "existing testing protocols would likely disappear."

But a porn performer infected with HIV in 2004 disagreed. "I thought getting a test would save me," said Darren James, a former porn actor and director. "I'm HIV-positive. Having a barrier helps."

Cases such as James' and others infected with HIV have led to the temporary shutdown of the porn industry, most recently in August.

The notoriety surrounding the issue has also highlighted other topics related to porn-actor protection.

Mark McGrath, a health consultant working with the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, said the L.A. County Department of Health has documented 3,400 cases of chlamydia and gonorrhea infections in the porn industry between 2004 and 2008.

This in my view is a horrible move by the Los Angeles porn industry, because once again, underage sex will be depicted in a porn movie - Skipper as stated by wikipedia was never over the age of 15 years old (and according to this article Skipper was initially intended to be around 10 years old).

According to 18 U.S.C. § 2256 the depiction of a minor in adult content is AGAINST THE LAW in the United States!

In an interview with Adult Cybermart - Kaylee discloses details about her part in the xxx porn parody based on Mattel's Barbie dolls - keep in mind the studio producing this movie, X-Play, is the same studio which depicted a minor having sex in their second Cosby porn parody (the character of "Rudy" was depicted as being no older than 14 years old, yet had an explicit hardcore sex scene).

Hopefully AVN, Xbiz and other adult media outlets of the like will not continue to give awards to and support porn producers who continually break the law by depicting minors in sexual situations - it lowers the level porn's legitimacy in the view of many porn industry professionals, and places the industry as a whole in a very unflattering light.

Teacher Accused Of Maintaining Porn Site
California Woman On Paid Leave Until Investigation Complete

A California teacher is under investigation after school officials accused her of maintaining a porn site with her work laptop.

Lincoln High School teacher Heidi Kaeslin is on paid leave until the district decides whether she violated the teaching code of ethics, The Stockton Record reported.

The investigation also involves former Stockton, Calif., police officer Richard Fields, who was assigned to the school as a resource officer. He told the newspaper he had acquired domain names including mysluttyteachers.com to develop them into websites.

Fields said Kaeslin's involvement was limited, and he eventually abandoned the venture.
The newspaper reported that one of the websites was active for only one day in February, which could indicate a test run.

Kaeslin, a special education teacher and former girls soccer coach, has been with the district since 2002.
Fields retired from the police department in May.

As of August of 2011, Vivid / Sun Lust pictures has released a new movie entitled "Raw Sex" - directed (supposedly) by Sunny Leone featuring Desi and Elli Foxx.

Desi Foxx, who currently runs the website / blog www.PornInTheValley.com has made no mention of she or her daughter shooting any new adult content or of making a "comeback" into the porn circuit so many of The Foxxes fans, have inquired as to when this footage was shot.

PornNewsToday.com was able to get in contact with the matriarch of "The Foxxes" mother / daughter duo, Desi Foxx, on the recent release "Raw Sex" and obtained quite the surprising comment:

"The footage of Elli and I in this release is several years old and was shot during the short 1 and a half years that we were active in the business. It's very odd that it's just now being released and under the Vivid label of all studios, being this was content that we shot that was for web-only from my understanding.

In fact we were only paid half fee for this footage being that this was intended to be content shared footage between the producer, Elli and I back when we were planning to make a website. This instance goes to show - that once you enter the Los Angeles porn circuit - it can continue to follow you for years post your departure. "Upon verbal agreement of 50/50 split of any and all earnings from said movie between Tee Reel and Marcus Drescher, Marcus was hired by Tee Reel as assistant director, videographer, filmographer, and editor for creation and release of Real Interracial II. Marcus' name can be found in the credits. Marcus also holds in his possession original documents including original scenes used in the movie, the actual movie timeline and pre-rendered master of said movie. Other documents in posession may include photos of actors in said movie, model releases and USC 2257 contracts.

Michelle Paterson Content Manager, is fully aware of this situation and is knowledgeable in knowing of this arrangement. It should be known that as of October 23rd 2011, no record of payment to Miss Paterson has been made for her work on the project either."

Apple has taken aim at a number of dot-com domain names featuring the word iPhone that sell pornography, including the website iphone4s.com.

A total of seven domains featuring hardcore pornography have been targeted by Apple in a new complaint filed with the World Intellectual Property Organization. As noted by Domain Name Wire, all of the sites feature the word iPhone, but perhaps the most troubling is the iphone4s.com website, which features the same name as Apple's latest handset.

The owners of the respective sites are unknown, as the domain names are protected by a privacy service shielding their "Whois" information. The Whois protocol stores the contact information for domain names on the Internet.

The iphone4s.com was originally registered in August of 2008, more than three years before Apple unveiled its iPhone 4S. The domain name for Apple's previous iPhone model, iphone4.com, is owned by Apple, while iphone3gs.com and iphone3g.com forward to non-Apple sites.

Other domains targeted by Apple include names like "iphonecamforce," "iphonecam4s," and "porn4iphones."

The World Intellectual Property Organization is a specialized agency of the United Nations. WIPO, along with the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, or ICANN, have developed rules for resolving domain name ownership disputes. The porn industry is much more than "porn" - many aspects of it are gateways to turning away from God, Jesus, the Light, and Good. I'm an unconventional Christian, but a Christian none the less - that's what's in my core.

I don't believe that Christianity is the only "right" path - I think all paths rooted in God, the light, good and doing what's right, each have a piece of the puzzle which makes up the "big picture".

I've wondered for a while why my life has taken the road it has - and I finally have a resolution. I feel that God set me on a mission to point other's in the "right direction", who've taken the road that I have - but who might still be a bit lost.

I suppose what I'm saying - is that I'm up for the job of being a "sign post" I suppose.

If there's one thing I've realized on my journey through the Los Angeles porn circuit - it's that through guilt and despair - certain "porn professionals" attempt to turn God's children away from the light permanently (and if they resist - these jerks will use " gang stalking " tactics to drive these souls to suicide before they can make it back to the light). The reason, is to attempt to gather souls and energy for their weak, demonic, satanic and losing side. I know because this nearly happened to me - but it didn't (God sent me some help just in time).

If you are reading this, I urge you to reach out to any adult industry worker you know, and tell them that they ARE GOOD ENOUGH for God, Jesus, good and/or the light. They just have to make a step in the right direction.

Broke Porn Professionals are not just extorting the American public - they've hit Australia using Pornwikileaks intimidation tactics

On July 21, 2010 I wrote a blog entitled PornWikiLeaks 2.0 could happen including the names of pornstars AND porn VIEWERS. I was right (I hate being so darned accurate about the future of porn at times).

Porn companies and those with interest in the porn industry such as the FSC (Free Speech Coalition) over the past few months in the USAhave kept their attorneys busy filing lawsuits to "stop pirating" - but not against the file sharing sites (many of which the porn studios actually own). Instead against the end users who download the content. These lawsuits of course are all intended to be "settled" .

In the US, lawyers have issued tens of thousands of letters of demand to people accused of illegally downloading explicit content in the past year. Typically, these letters suggest that if the case were to go to court, the alleged downloader could, if found guilty, face fines of up to $150,000, plus costs.

Alternatively, they are told, the case could be settled immediately for a small fee, generally just a few thousand dollars. Many pay up rather than face the possible expense and humiliation of a court case. A similar approach has also been used with some success in Britain.

One of the primary attorneys handling these lawsuits in the US (Los Angeles - Porn Valley) ironically is Michael Fattorosi - the EXACT same attorney who advised Donny Long and other operators of the PornWikiLeaks website which terrorized, harassed, stalked and released the personal information of countless adult industry performers and professionals.

Looking back at the pornwikileaks issue - I still believe that it's intent may have been to eradicate adult performer's anonymity simply so lawyers representing porn studios would have justification in exposing the personal info of the end users the porn studios were planning to sue later if the user chose NOT to settle out of court.

Apparently this "extortion" trend the financially broken porn industry has begun to utilize just hit Australia. An Australian company trying to sue people for illegally downloading Hollywood movie Kill the Irishman has extensive links to internet pornography, raising suspicions that the legal action may in fact be a stalking horse for a larger assault on behalf of the porn industry.

As reported by Fairfax this month, Brisbane law firm Lloyds Solicitors, acting on behalf of the Gold Coast-based Movie Rights Group, has written to internet service providers including Telstra, iiNet, Internode and Exetel seeking the details of thousands of people alleged to have illegally downloaded the crime thriller Kill the Irishman in May.

An investigation by Fairfax has since revealed that the New Zealand-born brothers behind Movie Rights Group (Matthew Clapham and Richard Clapham) are major players in the internet porn industry, raising the possibility that their real motive is to sue thousands of Australians who have downloaded porn without paying for it.

What I find interesting about this situation is that an organization here in the United States called the Free Speech Coalition (the FSC) while in support of these anti-piracy tactics (at one point in time Michael Fattorosi attempted to be a board member on the FSC), is AGAINST the implementation of the .XXX extension which would help to protect children from accessing porn online AND has gone as far as to grant membership to the FSC and support pornographers who depict children having sex in adult content.

the cause for .XXX domains gained ground today with the Sesasme Street porn incident

On October 16th, 2011 some idiot decided it would be fun to add porn clips to the Sesame Street youtube channel (click here to read about it on Cnet.com). I suppose it's not enough to add adult rated content to video games that teenagers have access too. Certain people are out to PERVERT the minds of children as well (I've been saying for a while now that quite a few porn industry "professionals" have an abnormal fixation with the merger of SEX and CHILDREN and keep trying to depict child themed situations in their porn movies - porn director Will Ryder sure did in that damn Not The Cosbys XXX 2 movie. )

Fortunately the operators of the Sesame Street youtube channel caught the incident within 22 mins of the clips being posted - however the channel did become unavailable.

In my view, this incident most likely will assist in the .XXX domain coming into effect and shortly being MANDATORY for all adult content to be placed under. Certain "porn professionals" have bitched and moaned about the cost of the domains, but perhaps that's PUNISHMENT for the lack of professionalism and responsibility the porn industry has displayed over the past decade.

The availability of adult material to youngsters is reaching a level of being out of control, and since a centralized internal regulation system which should monitor, control and account for such incidents and individuals is not in place - the government most likely will have to step in and create new laws.

When an internal system doesn't exist or fails, and external system will step in. Either conform or DEFECT.

Why is Kayden Kross supporting Pornwikileak's lack of legal closure?

We are in mid-October and the Pornwikileaks incident STILL has not received LEGAL closure - that's a fact. Individual parties (both attached and UNATTACHED to the porn industry) who were gang stalked, cyber bullied, harassed, slandered and terrorized both on and offline still would like some legal closure on the issue - yet Sean Tompkins (who could expedite the legal closure process) continues to refuse to furnish the database which would identify exactly who created the "wikis" from the Pornwikileaks site to the public (or at least to the individual parties seeking legal resolution).

Sean Tompkins is intentionally obstructing justice in the name of personal and professional gain. Regardless of how you want to look at the situation - it is wrong. He has gone as far as to continue utilizing the EXACT SAME stalking and slandering tactics and patterns with his site TheRealPornWikiLeaks as the initial PornWikiLeaks site did.

I am still a PRIMARY TARGET being that I've been verbal about the initial PornWikiLeaks site lacking a legal conclusion, and now other's attached to adult entertainment have become targets and have suffered slander and harassment as well (porn director Nica Noelle, anti-porn activist Shelley Lubben, anti-porn and HIV awareness speaker Derrick Burts, etc).

At this stage I feel an "essay" written by Kayden Kross should be pulled by every media outlet that has posted it. Either that or a retraction needs to be written that states that the PornWikiLeaks issue has never reached legal closure.

As of current, I'm very disappointed in Kayden Kross's and possibly Digital Playground's (they have ads plastered all over Sean Tompkin's website) support of Sean Tompkins and his aquantence Michael Whiteacre's regular on and offline harassment, gang stalking and terrorism of individuals they feel the need to target and victimize - however considering that Kayden Kross is a convicted felon for real estate fraud with a criminal history I can't say I'm surprised (you know the saying "Birds of a feather flock together").

Kayden Kross's essay is fraudulent, and I have to question if she was paid to assist in the cover up of Sean Tompkin's efforts to convert the initial PornWikiLeaks project and traffic over to the new TheRealPornWikiLeaks site. Both sites utilize the EXACT same framework (and I've stated before that the blueprint for such sites should be patented and made ILLEGAL).

Being that Kayden Kross in my view is assisting possible conspiracy, criminal behavior and fraud, I plan on submitting a letter in regards to the situation to the Superior Court of California to alert the court of the situation. Kayden Kross has been on probation since July of 2009 for real estate fraud (which ironically she claims to be the "victim" of), and though I may be wrong in my view of her involvement in assisting with another fraudulent situation - all signs point to her knowing vital information which could bring legal closure to pornwikileaks.

Sean Tompkins disclosed to me via phone that only himself and Kayden Kross would ever know the political motives behind the site (why only Kayden?)
Kayden Kross was a client of Michael Fattorosi who gave legal advice to the owners of the website .
Kayden Kross is a member of the FSC (free speech coalition) - an organization which is opposed to Shelley Lubben's efforts, Nica Noelle's efforts to start the Adult Performer's Association and the AHF (Aids HealthCare Foundation - the organization Derrick Burts speaks in support of) .
Kayden Kross is friends with Michael Whiteacre (who has been gang stalking Shelley Lubben for a while now).

Again, I find it comical that one who proclaimed for so long to be a "victim" (yet was convicted in a court of law) has a problem with me having the strength to acknowledge that I was a true victim (along with my family and many others) who has the EVIDENCE to back it up (and the sense to not GIVE UP until I have legal closure).

I live in the light and in a world of truth. That's why I don't have a CRIMINAL HISTORY. Only CRIMINALS don't seek or see the importance legal closure.

I wasn't going to touch this news item, but it's too mind blowing not to at least mention it (news truly is stranger than fiction now days). 17 year old Courtney Stodden, a young woman (or maybe I should say girl) recently married 51 year old Hollywood actor Doug Hutchison.

It's not for me or anyone else really to judge whether this is "wrong" or "right" - it certainly IS legal for these 2 to marry - however I do find that they both have a rather odd presence (watch the video - really watch it).

I'm not entirely convinced that Doug is "straight" considering what I see here (I understand the concept of "metro sexuals" and I've lived in Hollywood, CA so I've been around "Hollywood" guys but this dude really seems effeminate), and considering what's reported in this piece about Courtney (she was homeschooled online via a "Christian academy website" due to her peers in traditional school being "jealous" of her looks according to her parents) - I have to question whether the parents MAY have "groomed" her for this sort of marriage/arrangement.

Watching her mannerisms in the interviews she seems a little loopy like she may be medicated (this will sound "far out" I'm sure, but the term MK Ultra / Monarch mind control immediately came to mind while watching this video).

It appears that Shelley Lubben of ThePinkCross.org managed to get quite the telling interview from ex-pornstar Corina Taylor.

Though Corina was an active pornstar for only about a year (from 2003 to 2004) - she had many bad experiences in the industry and has found that even though she's left the industry quite some time ago, her life has remained forever changed (she still consistently has to deal with people judging her, discriminating against her, harassing her, etc).

Corina doesn't hold back in this interview in regards to her bad experience with Vince Vouyer of Vouyer media. I personally believe her account, because when Vince directed me in Control Freaks he expected sex from me that day prior to me shooting my scene with the male talent Sascha (which was not only unprofessional, but upon looking back - quite dangerous for both myself and Sascha being that Vince didn't present me with his current STD test).

According to an August 2004 interview by Gene Ross in regards to Corina's bad experience with Vince Vouyer - Vince pulled the SAME SCAM on Corina as he did on me YEARS later! He promised her the box cover for the scene of which she was "anally raped" (most likely in exchange for her silence) but GAVE IT TO ANOTHER PERFORMER IN THE VIDEO INSTEAD (Teagan).

When I worked for Vouyer Media (Vince's studio) in 2008, when I shot a scene for "Black Bottom Girls 5", he told me I would get the box cover if I worked with Jack Napier (a male talent with a VERY large penis), AND went as far as to book the box cover shoot. Vince later "canceled" the shoot with me the MORNING OF the "supposed" box cover shoot (which I feel he never intended to follow through with anyways) via text message rather than through my agency at the time Type 9 Models AND I never received a kill fee (a last minute cancellation fee paid by the studio to the talent).

Corina's account of Eric Everhard surprised me however, because my experience with him was actually incredibly professional (keep in mind though, I worked with Eric about 4 years later for his own label which was distributed by Jules Jordan). SL: How were you first introduced to the sex industry?

V: Through a girlfriend I had who stripped.

SL: What did you think the sex industry could offer you?

V: Glamour and a sense of purpose with men. I wanted attention like my girlfriends received in high school. I was looked over for most of the part. I wasn’t the homecoming queen.

SL: Tell us about your first experience with the porn world.

V: I won a contest in a Hustler magazine that I entered almost as a joke and suddenly I was off to LA. Someone who worked with Hustler set me up with Derrick Hey with LA Direct Models and I moved into his house along with other porn stars. His house was so full that he moved one of the girls into a closet. Every porn star had to pay $700 a month to stay with him.

SL: Did you feel pressured by pornographers to do sex acts you wouldn’t have done before porn?

V: Yes. I swore I would never do anal and or interracial porn. I am not a racist but I don't sleep with black men in my personal life and I don't do anal. Just stomach turning...

SL: Which sex acts were you coerced into doing?

V: I finally broken down after being pressured and did anal and a scene with a black guy.

SL: Who was your agent? Were you pressured to do sex acts you didn’t agree to?

V: Derrick Hey with LA Direct Models was my agent and he pressured me to do anal. He even booked me to do an anal with him so I packed up my bags and left his house.

SL: What was your worst experience in porn?

V: When I did a scene for Red Light District, Vince Voyer gave me a ride to the set and he asked me for “road head”. He called me a whore and told me I had to do it. So I did. When I arrived to the set I expected to do a vaginal girl boy scene. But during the scene with male porn star Eric Everhard, he forced himself anally into me and would not stop. I yelled at him to stop and screamed no over and over but he would not stop. The pain became too much and I was in shock and my body went limp. I couldn’t fight him off anymore. After the scene, they wouldn’t give me a ride home. I called a taxi and went to a medical clinic to check me out due to the severe pain I was in. A day later I received a phone call from Vince to keep my mouth shut about the rape. He threatened me that I didn’t know who I was messing with and that his edited footage of what happened would prove me a liar. When I went to Red Light District to get my check, I was only paid for vaginal, not the anal rape. The anal scene was so traumatizing that I hid out for six weeks.

SL: Were you offered drugs and alcohol?

V: I did not do any drugs... I don't use alcohol. I performed sober. I was never around drugs and only around alcohol at parties. I rarely attended those. I didn't do any of it before getting into the industry and I never had a desire to use drugs and alcohol regardless. Thank God. He watched over me in that respect.

SL: Did you feel pressured to change your looks?

V: Yes... incredibly. And it became an obsession to always measure up and now I am lost in myself trying to measure up to who I think I could have been. Very emotionally disturbing actually.

SL: Describe any abuse you saw going on during a porn production.

V: I can only say that a lot of men in that industry don't like women to begin with. I am not saying all of them don't but a lot don't and they could care less about the level of degradation they place on women.

SL: What is your experience with STDs?

V: By the grace of God I didn’t catch an STD... I tested regularly through AIM, however, when a performer I worked with caught an STD, I was given a pill to prevent me from getting sick.

SL: Do you feel you were educated by the porn industry about STDs?

V: I feel that they have a way of making you feel like a sex soldier and that you are exempt of the true risk that exists of contracting HIV. It was the last thought that crossed my mind when I worked. I know of someone who contracted it during the last outbreak. It is heartbreaking. I would love to see nothing more than the industry protecting the performers’ lives and mandating condoms. They can use clear ones and protect lives. The pornographers aren't the victims when it comes to the STDS. The performers are.

SL: Were you educated about your rights as an employee to a safe and healthful workplace?

V: Absolutely not.

SL: Describe your work environment. Did you feel it was a safe and healthful workplace?

V: I was under the illusion that porn was safe until someone I met contracted HIV and it hit me that it could have been me at any given time and that we are not sex soldiers and not exempt from the perils and pitfalls that could happen as a result of unprotected sex.

SL: Were you afraid you would catch STDS or HIV?

V: Not at the time because I was told I would be kept safe. I actually thought Sharon Mitchell was doing the best she could to protect performers. But at the same time there are NO guarantees that you will be spared from STDs or contracting HIV and that it can be you getting the positive test result at any time in an industry that allows for unprotected sex.

SL: Victoria, did you ever enjoy making porn?

V: I only enjoyed the opportunities that arose such as appearing on the Howard Stern show. I never had an orgasm. I only acted. It was a big act. And the act got uglier with being raped by Red Light district. I don't even like sex anymore because I can't find someone that doesn't abuse me on one level or another and they think it's ok because I was a porn star and that their abuse is justified. No abuse is justified.

SL: How did you get out of porn?

V: The very last scene I shot with Evil Angel and it was an interracial scene. I didn’t want to do it but after the anal scene, I was told I wouldn’t work again after Vince’s threats and lies so I really had no choice. I did the scene with the black male porn star on a Thursday and the director tried to book me again on Monday with the same performer. I ended up getting on a plane going back home because I had enough. It was truly God watching over me because I learned that the male performer worked with someone who was on the first generation watch list for the HIV outbreak that occurred the day before that scene was booked. That’s how close I was to HIV. I cried my eyes out.

SL: How are you treated now that you are out of porn?

V: I am treated absolutely horrific!!! Porn has left a permanent stain on my life. I have been harassed by boyfriends because of my porn past. I am discriminated against in my community when applying for jobs and sometimes on levels that are illegal. I deserve to be happy in life and not harassed by people who are threatened by my past. I also don't deserve to be slandered, I don't slander others, I don't deserve it.

SL: What message would you give to other aspiring porn stars?

V: I would say that it isn't all glamour and there may be times that you could find yourself being coerced or violated and that you could contract HIV and you can wind up empty and soul less and alone in life...like me. And that the stigma and finger waving will follow you for the rest of your life. You could spend your life being harassed like I am. It isn't fun by any means. It's only made me hateful where I never used to be hateful. I am a product of what can happen to girls. I go to bed alone at night. I don’t have many friends. I never once thought people would act so incredibly sick in the head over my porn past.

SL: What message would you give to men viewing porn?

V: That women are NOT objects and we don't want to have our insides pounded out and we don't want to be degraded and that we are real people with real hearts and real personalities. It’s sick that porn viewers want to watch women being violated. The people I know who are obsessed with sex and porn and orgies are Lawyers Doctors Dentists and Judges, the people in position who society thinks so much of while they secretly get off to violent and degrading porn. These are the people who need to seek treatment and the ones that society are programmed to think so highly of. I know a dentist who has a porn collection and him and his wife take their office staff to Mexico and they have orgies. They tried to brand me a prostitute because I made porn when they are the hypocrites with the sexual addiction and even bully their office staff into sexual acts because of their sexual and porn addiction. This is the kind of thing that happens in the real world. Porn addiction is real and it damages lives.

SL: Thank you Victoria for being honest and so courageous to share your story and experience in porn. INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - There are new developments in the sex scandal involving Indiana State Representative Phil Hinkle (R-Indianapolis.) A pair of pornographic websites are using Hinkle's name in the effort to attract business. The websites have hired the same Teen Hinkle hired for “a really good time.”

Kameryn Gibson, the teenager whom Phil Hinkle hired on Craigslist, now works for a Miami company called Flava Works.

He has posed for two pornographic websites it owns and, in a statement released by the company says he did it for Representative Hinkle, "I can show him what he and his pals really missed out on," he says.

Hinkle, who says there was no sex when he took Gibson to a hotel room in August, reacted over the phone by saying "The kid's a liar and a thief and outside of that I don't want to comment." He again declined an on-camera interview.

In the meantime the west side Republican can't get away from the scandal that caused Conan O'Brien to joke about him on a late night talk show.

"Phil Hinkle, who voted to ban gay marriage," said O'Brien, "was caught propositioning a male prostitute. Now, asked to explain himself, Hinkle said 'I wasn't going to marry him.'"

Cable TV commentator Keith Olbermann also took on Hinkle, nominating him for one of his "worst person in the world" awards.

"The bronze to Indiana state representative Phillip Hinkle," said Olbermann, "who says he will not resign after soliciting a.. quote.. really good time from an 18-year-old boy on Craigslist."

Hinkle refuses to step down despite calls for his resignation by a GOP leader and the Speaker of the Indiana House. He has been removed as the chairman of two committees but continues to believe he can weather a scandal that is now far beyond his control.

The tape, shot in 1991, begins with a bunch of groupies in a living room during a house party. Tupac walks into the room with his pants down to his ankles, his shirt off ... sporting several chains.

So Bannister, his wife, Louise (co-creator of Frankie magazine), and designer Lara Burke came up with Smith Journal.

With ''the thinker [and] the DIY guy'' in mind, the magazine launched last month with a nine-page spread on ''typewriters and the men who love them'', featuring photographs (including on the cover) of vintage models used by authors such as Cormac McCarthy and Woody Allen. Elsewhere the spaces usually occupied by nymphettes were filled with a piece by Alain de Botton, quantum physics, the Rubik's Cube and nautical slang.
''I personally think that the male reader has been underestimated for a while,'' Rick Bannister says. He's not alone.

FACEBOOK has come under fire after it was revealed adult sites could show up in people's Facebook account timelines.

Technology blog Techwag has warned Facebook users to prepare for embarrassing connections to porn sites to start appearing in their timelines once the new feature goes live in coming weeks.

The timeline feature means you will now have an ongoing and persistent record of your activities when on Facebook and so will others who can view your page.

What this means is that if a porn site uses passive sharing options on Facebook, has “like” buttons on its page or allows people to sign into their site using your Facebook details then all of that will now be recorded on your timeline.

However this will only occur if you choose to interact with porn sites.

LOS ANGELES—On October 11, UCLA's School of Public Health will be holding another one of its AIDS Healthcare Foundation-friendly panels on performer perspectives on health and safety in adult film productions, and word on the street is that HIV-positive former performer Derrick Burts—aka "Patient Zeta"—is scheduled to make an appearance, probably as a panelist.

Of course, Burts' appearance is probably contingent on the outcome of the court hearing he's scheduled to attend in Riverside County Superior Court in Murietta on September 29, to face arraignment on charges of burglary and embezzlement of over $400, both felonies, for which he was arrested on July 31—and perhaps that court will also take notice of the fact that Burts appears to be in violation of his three-year probation on his guilty plea to a charge of reckless driving. That probation was revoked by the Orange County Superior Court on August 31, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

There may be a Los Angeles County warrant on him as well, since he reportedly failed to show up in court in Van Nuys on July 6 to inform the court that he had complied with its order that he attend 52 weeks of classes after he pled guilty to a charge of disturbing the peace—a plea arising out of his having been arrested for domestic violence and misdemeanor-level assault in August, 2010.

But these are only the latest troubles that have come to light for Burts, who allegedly contracted HIV on the set of a gay condom-mandatory movie he shot in Florida—the last of several gay shoots in which he had appeared (as "Derek Chambers") since August of 2010. Some of those scenes included "Derek Chambers Foreskin Exam" for RealGuysExposed.com, "Horny Boy Fucks His Straight Roommate" for Gay Creeps, a bi threeway scene for ClubDean.com, "Wham Bam Thank You Man" for OutInPublic.com in early September, 2010, and a scene for Robert Chandler on October 6—three days past the expiration of Burts' most recent HIV test, which he'd taken at AIM on September 3. Photos have also surfaced of Burts being "gang-stripped" on stage by attendees at Micky's, a famous gay bar in West Hollywood, in late August of 2010—and of course, there's the now familiar Burts ad seeking gay sexual encounters on RentBoy.com.

Burts' learned of his possible HIV-positive status on October 9—a diagnosis that was confirmed about a week later after the results of his Western Blot and ELISA tests came back. However, though Burts later claimed to be distraught and depressed after learning of his status, he nonetheless shot a gay scene for Robert Chandler on November 14.

"I didn’t know Derrick was so torn up,” Chandler recalled. "I knew he was going through some tough stuff, and I thought doing the shoot with him would help. He said it would. And he seemed very enthusiastic doing the shoot and said he had a good time. I had no idea he felt so betrayed by the industry or that he was planning to go public."
It was shortly after that, that Burts was recruited by AIDS Healthcare, which reportedly agreed to pay his medical expenses for life, in return for which he would act as AHF's "industry spokesperson" and espouse AHF's condom-mandatory agenda. It was at this point that Burts also claimed to have been ill-treated by AIM personnel when he tried to get treatment for his condition.

Indeed, since joining up with AIDS Healthcare, Burts has rarely told the same story twice regarding the source of his infection, claiming at times that he may have contracted the disease through oral contact (since the scene itself was condom), or that he may have become infected by having rubbed a towel coated with infected semen to clean up after his scene.

AVN has acquired much more information on Burts' pre-porn life as well as more complete background on the polygraph test that agent Mark Spiegler asked Burts to take regarding his statements about his HIV-positive status and how he acquired it, but Spiegler and Burts were never able to come to an agreement as to which questions would be asked, and the exam was never given.

But after learning all of the above, the question has to be asked: Why would anyone believe anything Derrick Burts has to say about either his career in the adult entertainment industry or how he became HIV-positive?

Former porn actor convicted of attempted murder

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A pornographic film star from the 1990s is likely headed to prison for trying to kill his girlfriend in Sacramento two years ago.

Marc Anthony Donais, a onetime Playgirl centerfold who later acted under the name Ryan Idol, was convicted of attempted murder Tuesday for beating the woman over the head with a porcelain toilet tank lid.

She testified he attacked her in her in-laws’ apartment in east Sacramento because she broke up with him. He said it was self-defense.

Deputy District Attorney Kevin Jones said the Sept. 5, 2009, attack resulted from long-standing jealousy on Donais’ part — despite his testimony that he never worried about his girlfriend wanting sex from other men “because ours was so great.”

“I think the jury was able to recognize that his narcissism and ego basically led him to where he was,” Jones said.

Donais faces a maximum of 15 years in prison when he next sees Sacramento Superior Court Judge Troy L. Nunley. Sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 9.

With the recent HIV scares and the big controversy over cross over talent there is one subject that seems to be constantly ignored that is a very serious double standard.

Porn stars escorting. I have been over this before and taken quite a beating for speaking out but I don’t fucking care. It needs to be said. If a girl goes and fucks some random guy in a hotel room and then continues to show up to sets to shoot how is that not being addressed as high risk for the rest of the industry? If a girl gets her test on August 20 and fucks strangers in hotel rooms and does movies until September 19 when she tests again how is that not a very serious concern for OSHA and all the people screaming about the recent HIV crisis? It’s almost as if it isn’t really happening.

The reality is there are very few "Porn Stars" anymore. The huge majority are escorts who shoot some movies on the side to keep their per hourrates high. And please try and tell me that these girls who are being flown to Dubai for weekends for $50,000 are using condoms and tests are being provided by sheiks and princes!

That is enough to make me choke with laughter. It’s a very well-known fact that young boys are considered a delicacy in the Arab world and if theyare passed around into the mix with American Porn Stars where is OSHA and all the other harpies on this issue?

I think that the girls who escort should have to be regulated by the industry and that the few of us who actually earn our money by not fucking strangers in hotel rooms she be made aware of who is escorting and who isn’t and when their last test was. Of course this isn’t going to happen because that would be a massive undertaking and would require an organization that would have to be independent and have no bias to the industry or those in it and we all know that will never happen.

So we can all point fingers at the gay side of the industry which I totally agree is fucked up and very scary, but so many with a platform to actually make awareness on this issue are being silent? Why? I agree that studies show that HIV is very hard to pass from a woman to a man, but herpes or a list of other STD’s aren’t and it’s proven that people with STD’s are much more susceptible to HIV and blood-born virus’ than those without it.

I will be called a hypocrite and told that fucking on camera is no different than fucking strangers in hotel rooms and all of that but I don’t care. I don’t care if a girl is a whore or not, privately or publicly. I care that they are doing it with strangers and then showing up to set the following day without a test in between and putting my health at risk and the health of everyone else and no one who counts and can do something about it is saying a fucking word

For quite some time now I've stated that webcam modeling is not just the new frontier of adult entertainment - it's also one of the safest ways to be a part of and earn a decent living in the adult (porn) industry. However as of yesterday, my thoughts have changed which is why I'm writing this piece.

Watch out webcam models - you are not just in demand and the adult industry's hottest commodities as of current - you are being hunted by predators (illegal pimps, unethical adult industry "professionals", human traffickers and criminals).

Don't worry though - every predator has a natural enemy that knows it's weaknesses (trust me, there's a reason many males in the porn industry dislike "Cougars" - even "Baby Cougars" such as myself).

As of current, thanks to the efforts of websites such as www.GettingIntoPorn.com , www.Xbiz.net along with several other open, honest and comprehensive adult entertainment industry online resources - many women have become aware that the porn industry harbors many more pitfalls and dangers than it would like the public to be aware of, which makes it much more difficult for recruiters to find fresh talent (the primary and key element the porn industry is reliant upon).

Many women, even in this weak economy, have quickly come to realize (thanks to the internet), that they are better off webcamming from the safety and security of their own homes, rather than making the trek to Los Angeles or Miami. This new trend has heavily effected the quality of content (well actually the quality of performer) the porn industry has been producing lately, so a new tactic has come into play.

Adult industry talent "recruiters" are now trolling the webcam networks in search of fresh talent to lure into possibly dangerous, illegal and unsafe work environments. Top studios such as Twisty's started using this tactic first, and slowly it's trickled down into the lower levels of porn.

A recruiter (aka pimp) will befriend a webcam girl, and in time claim that she has such a marketable look (and she just might) that he could book her right away for legitimate porn shoots. Unfortunately the majority of the time when the girl is finally convinced to travel to meet the recruiter for work, there is not any work pre-booked. If anything the recruiter expects the model to continue webcamming (with her pre-existing clientel) , pay the recruiter for her living expenses, room and board, and IF the recruiter DOES manage to book her anywork, she's expected to fork over a percentage of those earnings.

It's modern day slavery, debt bondage, and old school pimping with a new school twist. The recruiter is essentially stealing the earnings the webcam girl would have been retaining independently if she'd never met the recruiter AND she's handing over her pre-established fan base (which equates to countless earnings) to the recruiter (aka PIMP).

If you are a webcam girl currently, DO NOT work for a webcam studio, DO NOT attempt to enter porn right now considering the upheaval the industry is currently experiencing (STD testing is not centralized to it's uncertain as to who has what diseases) and DO NOT be fooled by any recruiters, managers, scouts or agents into traveling anywhere.

Please stay home, remain independent, webcam solo from home, stay safe and remember there's no such thing as a quick buck or easy money.

The future of porn - POZ straight porn!

As you, my readers know, I'm always looking at the trends in adult entertainment and often figure out the "future of porn" before it occurs.

It's a gift.

Speaking of "Gifts" - are you familiar with the term "POZ" - if not you'd better school yourself by clicking here.

I'm under the impression that sooner, rather than later, just like on the "Gay Side" of porn, there will be a publicly acknowledged "POZ arm" of "Straight" porn.

As quite a few of you are aware there recently was another HIV occurance in the porn industry which has made national news. You would think that at this stage the true decision makers in porn would go ahead and realize that mandatory condom usage along with 14 day testing cycles should be put into full affect ASAP. But OHHHHH NOOOO - the porn peeps don't want that - click here to read about it!

You'd also think that "professional and legitimate" porn talent agencies would refuse to work with any talent that takes part in illegal escorting where bareback untested sex can happen frequently between the "John" and the escort - but OH NOOOO - if anything when a pornstar signs up with an agency like LA Direct Models, Type 9 Models or ATMLA it seems like she's almost ENCOURAGED to work with escort agencies such as TheLuxuryCompanion.com and even go on TOUR (a whole bunch of Luxury Companions were Miami possibly shooting AND escorting when Patient 0 was discovered - did they do scenes with patient 0? Who knows - 13 girls were 1st generation exposures though...)

So what should be done? What can be done? In a porn industry where certain people don't even believe that HIV even exists is there hope? Well, call me CRAZY (which many do), but I have a solution:

*Take steps to legalize escorting in California. That way the primary adult talent agents and studios can be viewed as actual adult industry “professionals” instead of gangsters, criminals and human trackers cause we all know that escorting is the real cash cow for the porn biz.
*Make a POZ arm of “straight” porn – I think it probably exists on the downlow anyhow.
*Make active talent waive their right’s to patient confidentiality and make their STD status publicly known and keep it up to date on IAFD.com – that way the public (especially the Johns) know what they’re getting themselves into when they hire a pornstar escort.

There you go – transparency – the Obama way. Those 3 easy steps are your solution and there would be no more drama that wouldn’t be expected.

And as for Weinstein – it could totally work out really well for him and he’d have a brand new purpose…here’s what it would be
The AHF could be for the pornstars who never get rich who already are POZ or who later become POZ but can’t afford their meds.
In my view, the AHF could simply partner with LA Direct Models, ATMLA and TYPE 9 and open up POZluxurycompanion.com – their cut of the tricks they book would cover the meds for everyone!
Since the AHF already has a huge database of potential Johns and escorts it’s a win / win!

Oh, I also think Manwin needs to go ahead and sponsor all the non-POZ talent STD testing – if it gets too pricey, it wouldn’t be too difficult to have a POZ give all the remaining non-POZ’s “The Gift” – then in time, you could do away with STD testing all together – after all, in some people’s views HIV doesn’t even really exist (I think it does, but then again I might be totally brainwashed).

The big buzz is a new HIV Positive. Word is it is another male performer who has done crossover work. I don't have a confirmation on him yet but a dozen girls are quarantined as first generation exposures. The second generation exposures are said to be way high. the guy is said to have worked for ALL the major studios.

Initial rumors had the guy testing positive in Miami but it doesn't mean he was Miami based (he could be though) as usual nobody is coming forward.

No word on where he was testing but the silence surrounding this reeks of the old AIM protocol.
