Romney Now Being Put on the Spot About Porn

courtesy AdultFYI.com

from www.onenewsnow.com - A group of national leaders from the coalition on The War on Illegal Pornography is asking Mitt Romney to outline his plan to enforce federal laws if he is elected president.

The group has sent a letter to the former Massachusetts governor, requesting that he meet with them to nail down his position on the issue. Pat Trueman, president of Morality in Media (MIM) and spokesman of the group, says the commitment they want Romney to make is similar to those made by his GOP rivals, Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum.

Pat Trueman"In fact, Senator Santorum went so far as to put it on his website. It's a full-page statement on what he sees as important on the issue of pornography," Trueman reports. "He talks about the various ills of pornography -- how it leads to sexual trafficking, addiction, [and] divorce. It's a very thorough statement."

And his group wants to know what Romney would do as president because "when George Bush, our last president, was elected, he promised to enforce the law, but then did a very poor job," the MIM president recalls. "And no one got to Obama during the election to ask him what he would do, and he hasn't enforced the law at all. So the time to get the candidates is right now, when they're looking for votes."

Trueman believes they will get what they are looking for from Romney.
